Join us in celebrating the life of Mrs. Lois Thomas-Ewings here at the Historic Morton Theatre. Lois was born on September 1, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lois moved to Athens, Georgia in 1985 and founded the East Athens Educational Dance Center. Under her vision and leadership, she developed a one-of-a-kind program that gave youth in the ACC community an exciting and positive place to experience dance. Through the years Lois has received many awards for her work in the community and has mentored thousands of people.
