Box Office & Ticket Purchasing
The Box Office is open Monday-Friday 12:00 - 4:00 PM and is located at 195 W. Washington St. Athens, GA. The Box Office is also open one hour before any scheduled show time. Tickets can be purchased over the phone at 706-613-3771 during weekday box office hours. Tickets can also be purchased anytime via the Morton Theatre Online Box Office.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of operating as a rental facility, some events will sell their tickets without the assistance of the Morton Theatre Box Office. In these cases, ticket purchase locations will be noted in the event description on our calendars and on posters or other publicity produced by the event's presenter.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are available on all three floors of the Morton Theatre. The largest, multiple-stall restrooms for men and women are located on the third floor landing between the orchestra (theatre) and balcony seating levels. The restrooms in both the lower lobby and the orchestra (theatre) levels are ADA compliant. The restrooms in the lower lobby are also equipped with changing tables.
Elevator
The main elevator services the lower lobby and orchestra levels of the theatre. The balcony level is not accessible by elevator. Additionally there is a small wheelchair lift that operates between the main lobby and the E. D. Harris Pharmacy on the ground floor.
Accessible Seating
Tickets for accessible seating are available upon request but are subject to availability. The Morton Theatre is happy to offer a variety of solutions for patrons with accessibility needs and their companions. Please inform us of these needs when purchasing tickets by calling our administrative office at 706-613-3770.
Assisted Listening Devices
Using a free smartphone app guests are able to connect to the Listen EVERYWHERE system allowing them to enjoy the performance through their own headphones and earbuds. The app is available for Android or iOS Additionally the Morton Theatre offers an FM transmitted audio clarification device for patrons with hearing impairments. Both options are offered for free and can be enjoyed via using free public Wi-Fi in the building. Please note, utilizing Listen EVERYWHERE requires users to have their own earpieces compatible with their device.
Accessible Parking
The nearby Washington St. Parking deck (125 West Washington St., Athens 30601) features a large section of accessible parking and two elevators serving all levels. Additionally, there is one standard ADA on-street parking space in front of the Morton Theatre on West Washington St. You can find additional parking options on our Guest Parking page.
Public Transportation Accessibility
The Morton Theatre is a five minute walk from the Arch on UGA campus, a common stop for UGA and Athens-Clarke County bus systems. For more information see: ACC Transit and UGA Bus System.
CONCESSIONS
Based on the spaces utilized in the building by a presenter, concessions may or may not be available for an event. Please consult the pre-event email that contains your e-ticket for details. You may also call our administrative office at 706-613-3770 during box office hours.
