This performance highlights the advanced level students enrolled in East Athens Educational Dance Center’s, Accelerated Program 1-4 Students. “Emotions” is a celebration of dance and the various emotions that movement expresses. Music will range from classical music to the soulful blues of Nina Simone to contemporary and gospel. Various styles of dance will be presented including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and praise dance. The journey demonstrates their exploration of common humanistic emotions and how they are conveyed through the dynamics of their physical, emotional, and mental expressions.
