DESCRIPTION:
Prelude Dance Ensemble is the University of Georgia's premier dance group. They are composed of students passionate about the arts with a talent for dancing and choreographing, who want to progress these passions into their college years. Experience the exhilarating fusion of passion, creativity, and talent as this student-led, student-choreographed college dance group takes center stage for their highly anticipated Spring Showcase! This dynamic event will be a celebration of diversity, self-expression, and the incredible artistry within the student body. Their spring showcase will feature pieces of various styles choreographed by the students and perfected throughout the school year. Small group and guest performer pieces will be sandwiched by two group pieces worked on every week by the ensemble. All are welcome to this free event at the Morton Theater, on April 28th at noon for an unforgettable evening filled with talent, expression, and the joy of dance. The Spring Showcase is not just a performance; it's a celebration of the vibrant and dynamic spirit that defines Prelude Dance Ensemble. Be there to witness the magic unfold on stage!
